South Africa anyone?

On the 14th February, I found out that I was accepted to participate in an Internship at the NMF in Johannesburg. From May till early August, I will be in South Africa. In September of 2004, the NMF Centre of Memory project was launched. This is the section of the foundation in which I will be working, as it is where the archives is located. The archives is in its early stages of development, so it is anyone’s guess as to what my work will entail. All I know is that it is exciting to be involved in such a project. I will be living in Johannesburg: living in Melville and working in Houghton. If any of you have visited South Africa, I would appreciate any advice or helpful tips you may have.

It is one month until my departure. Does anyone have any advice for me? If you would like a postcard, be sure to give me your mailing address before I leave on the 26th of April.
